“Our buildings should inspire all that happens inside them. Together, we can create a space for the visual and performing arts that reflects the values and depths of the Catholic community and the CCHS experience.”
-Kurt Telford, Principal, CCHS
Expanding the Vision.
For many years, Charlotte Catholic High School has remained unfinished. When the school moved from Park Road to its current home on Highway 51, we envisioned a future expansion to include a fine arts center dedicated to the visual and performing arts. While the well-rounded education provided at CCHS continues to be exceptional, our talented faculty and staff have worked hard in facilities that have lacked 21st century learning and performing spaces.
After decades of planning, a new Fine Arts Center will provide a setting that encourages our students to develop their talents and creativity. In addition, a new weight room, wrestling room, and needed physical education and athletics spaces will be upgraded to meet today’s standards. Finally, this expansion will add needed classrooms - maximizing classroom time by eliminating the need for some teachers to move from room to room with all their teaching materials.
Everyone at CCHS, as well as students at our MACS elementary and middle schools, will benefit from this facility. This building will provide a beautiful, inspiring, and comfortable space to hold concerts, theatrical productions, and programs.
